Vendor Spotlight - Nature's Last Stand

Meet longtime seattle farmers market staple, Nature's Last Stand. Anyone who has enjoyed one (or more) of their delicious breakfast sandwiches while walking the market, or has added some of their pork or lamb sausage to their market haul knows what we are talking about when we say they should be a regular stop on your market visits.

Find out who Nature's Last Stand is in their own words in this most recent vendor spotlight blog.

Nature's Last Stand is a 30-acre farm located along the Snoqualmie River, between Carnation and Fall City, Washington. We raise and breed heritage hogs and sheep on pasture, primarily for sausage that's prepared and sold at local year-round and seasonal farmers markets. The farm is also home to wildlife such as salmonids and pileated woodpecker. River otters, elk, water fowl and black bears have also been spotted in surrounding areas.

2024 marks our 29th year in the farmers market system in Seattle.  We love being a part of the combined efforts of all of the vendors who provide such a unique and abundant marketplace for Seattleites. The ability for the farmer to connect with the folks that buy and consume our food, makes these markets a rare reciprocal experience. What is priceless about the markets, is the weekly opportunity to connect with other hard working farmers, producers and market staff who dedicate themselves, despite the hardships, to the pursuit of success.

Prepared food includes our flagship, the "Classic," as well as our popular Spicy Thai pork sausage sandwich and Merguez lamb sausage sandwich.

Deli case items include the following sausages: classic breakfast, maple breakfast, bratwurst, chorizo, Italian, spicy Thai, longanisa, and merguez. Pulled pork and frozen soup is also available.

Nature’s Last Stand is a perfect example of what makes farmers markets so vital to farmers and the communities that they interact with every week. This Sunday make sure you stop by Nature’s Last Stand, say hi, and grab a mouth watering breakfast sandwich and add some sausage to your basket to take home.
